We purchased a stokke crib for our daughter in 2006. From the start we found that the mattress was horrible. It provided no support and there was space between the crib and the mattress. We recently started using the crib for our 5 month old son and have had similar concerns. Our son keeps getting stuck. We went to Buy Buy Baby to address those concerns and learned that the mattress was recalled in August 2007. Stokke no longer makes their own mattress.
After learning that the mattress we have was recalled, we contacted Stokke to get a new mattress. Well, 10 e-mails and 3 weeks later, Stokke will not replace our recalled mattress. They are just horrible! I will never buy another Stokke product and plan on filing as many complaints as i can so that people know how disgusting their business practices really are.
What are they waiting for; a child to get hurt?
