On July 31,2008, my son receieved a Pleo Life Form for his birthday. (Pleo is an interactive baby dinosaur) August 1, I contacted the Ugobe company because the toy was having charging issues. It was recommended by the support staff to return the battery for inspection at my cost.
8-10 weeks later we received a replaced battery from Ugobe, but we were still experiencing the same issues. I was then told to return the battery and charger, again at my cost. In November I sent the items by UPS back to Ugobe.
In January when I hadn't heard from Ugobe I contacted them by phone and was told the items were out of stock and the ETA was unknown but to sit tight I should have them soon. In late March I attempted again to check on the items by phone but got a recording stating the the phone number was no longer in service. I quickly went to the Ugobe web page and left messages in their contact us section. The only response was an email stating they received my email and a reprentative will get back to me in 2 days. It is now May and they haven't gotten back to me yet. Checking the web site periodically, and leaving countless emails, I have discovered it no longer exists.
I don't know what to do next. All I do know is that I have a $300.00 dinosaur and absolutely no way to make it work.
