I placed a reservation and paid for a bus rental to pick up my family and friends in Levittown, Pa. for my wedding. They were to be picked on 9/25/09, they would travel to Travelers Rest, SC and arrive that evening 9/25/09. This was a 52-57 passenger bus that was booked full. In order to save money (fees) I signed a contract that confirmed the price. I was instructed to wire the money. This company offered the best price. Other companies were also charging these fees. I wired the money, received a confirmation of receipt. Over the next few weeks I kept in communication via email and phone with the company to be insurred of the transaction. I was never given any reason for delay or problem. The week of the wedding I again emailed the company to ask a question about the bus. Again, I was assured all was well. Then on 9/24/09 at 12:54 I received an email stating they were not able to complete the transaction. They assured me that they made arrangements with another bus co. to take care of the transaction. They gave me a name and phone # to call.
I called and that company had no idea what I was talking about. I tried to contact Charter 365 but was not able to get anyone on the phone. This bus trip was for my wedding! It was very upsetting to me and my family. People made plans with their employers and families to take this trip and in one day it all went terribly wrong. The stress and disappointment was horrible. I had to scramble to find other means of transportation for my immediate family to get here. I had to pay alot more money just to get them here. A lot of people were not able to attend my wedding which cost us alot more money! I am still waiting for my refund which I have been told only by email that it is being processed. Every week since this happened the company keeps giving me more and more excuses. The company still will not answer the phone. As of 10/27 I have been informed my the company via email that since I have filed complaints about the company they will NOT return our money. I have all the emails and documents to verify my complaint.
