I see I am not alone with this complaint. I bought a contract from 2004-2014. I did get to use the cruise. But I have not been able to book any of the certificates, same stories as everyone else. I paid $4000.00 for my so-called plan. Is there any recourse to take against them? I'm glad I'm not the only person that feels the fool. How can these people live with themselves? Please include me in a suit against them.

I bought a timeshare and was told it was lifetime membership. I cannot get through to the company as I have tried many times over the years and my sister also tried to get through. I had only one trip. When I call on the phone, they do not know anything about it as they book the trips. I was also told I could transfer the timeshare. They wanted me to buy a higher priced timeshare and it was out of my price range so I went for this lower priced timeshare. Any help would be appreciated. I came across your website while trying to contact "Discover the Dream" and now my password will not get through. Bev **

I purchased twenty Discover the Dream Interlude weeks at locked in rates for ten years with no blackout dates (2 weeks per year for 10 years). This started May 5, 2003 through 2013. I paid $ 2,900 at that time and have the receipt. The problem is that I have never been able to take a trip because nothing is ever available. The website is constantly down, when you call Discover the Dream at 866-818-4162, most of the time you cannot get through, or the mailbox is full! Each year, the 2 weeks expire, so I only have 3 years left and I have never been able to take any of these 2 weeks for the last 7 years. I just tried again to book a trip and once again the website did not accept my legitimate serial number for my certificates.
I also noticed that there is a website for other people who are frustrated with the same treatment from Discover the Dream and want to proceed legally because they think it is a scam. Please let me know what my rights are and what you can do for me. I have started with this notification to you. Let me know what additional steps I need to take. At this point, I believe it is a scam. For the last 7 years, I have just been frustrated, but now I know I am not alone. Thank you for your help.

In joining this club for approximately $5,000 a few years ago, I have only been able to use one of the many certificates once. Every other attempt has been futile in that I am always being told that there was nothing available, no matter when I tried to use them. I would like to be reimbursed or be a part of a class action law suit against this company. I was scammed out of $5,000.00.

We joined the program "discover the dream vacation" and have been unable to book a vacation since we joined years ago. Nothing is ever available. It cost us over $6,000 . We have been scammed.

Discover the Dream is truly a scam! My huband and I bought a membership in 12/03 for $6990. I've never been able to book a vacation for the same reason others haven't-NO AVAILABILITY! Now I can't even access the website! Customer Service reps won't call back. I think it's time for a class action suit!!

I joined this vacation club a few years ago. I had a whole booklet of offers that I could not seem to find a way to get any information about, always it was booked, not the right time, or some other excuse. I did get a discount on a week in Paradise Village in june 2006.I spoke to a company rep. who promised me all kinds of things, never could get an honest answer. I just figured I lost $3000.00 or wasted my money on empty promises. If any one has any information , please let me know. I then noticed there is no website any longer.
I lost $3000.00

This looks to me like it is a scam. Do not buy from this company.

We were sold Discover the Dream membership for 60 months, paid $2,900. Jade and Tim were the salepeople. Total scam. The sales people lied in my face, knowingly. Could never redeem anything, nothing is ever avaiable, had tried for 2 years. They promised to give money back, and lied here again.

Is there more people out there that was promised a cruise when you purchased the discover the vacation package? We spent $5000. dollars for a twice a year vacation any where in the world.Ha that was a joke me and my wife have both tried to book a family vacation but nothing was ever available.
we have gave up on booking we have treid calling to talk to someone in person i would request to talk to a manager they would send me to some voice mail.We feel we have been mislead, tricked, and ripped off!Is there somebody that can help us.

When we bought this time share in december of 2005--we were told that we could go on line and would be able to book our vacations. Everytime I go on line there is nothing available for any prominent places that we mentioned that we would like to go to . This has been extremely frustrating for me--for we were told to book early--well no matter when you try to book there is nothing there to book.
If you want to go to a depressed area--well one can get that. If you go on vacation you don't want to see that--some people go to get away from looking at those things. No matter where you live there are depressed areas. I think that these folks should be made to refund all moneies to the people that have bought.
Right now I am holding certificates to places that will expire before i get to use them for there is nothing available. We told them that we like to go to nice places--oh you can go we were told--well we can't go for there is nothing there.

We gave them $3000,for 2weeks a year to be used over 10 years at any Mayan Palace Resort. Over the last 3 years we have been trying ,on a regular basis ,to book vacations.During this time we have only been able to book one stay Which was 2 years ago.Since then nothing has been available , no matter how much advance planning we have given them.

On 1-19-04 we purchased a vacation package from Discover The Dream for $4,000.00. At the time we were told that we would receive a free cruise (which we did) and that we could vacation anywhere for the amount of $349 aweek. This was for a 10 year contract.
We did use the free cruise and have been able to use one week at $349. Since then we have tried to get other weeks in the last two years and have not been able to get any. Even thou they are avalible if you pay full price. Is there a lawsuit against this company. We would be interested to know Thank You

We were unable to use any of the products/services that this company promised at the time of purchase. I have called the company several times and was promised a return call, but no one ever did. For over two years now, they haven't had any vacations available in any locations. DISCOVER THE DREAM SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME TO DISCOVER THE NIGHTMARE.
We paid $2600.00.
