They would not honor their own advertisement April Bed & Free Breakfast Special- Ridge Tahoe Resort- Deluxe Hotel room sleeps 2 that we paid for , and have a confirmation. The offer which is explained on their own web page is for 2 Breakfast Vouchers valued at $10 each and 10% off 1st & 2nd night and 3rd night is Free for April- 4/1/09- 4/30/09. Discount already reflected in room rates for 10% off. Must book 3 nights to receive 3rd night free, discount reflected at check out. When we checked in we were told we could not have the breakfast coupons because it was not on our reservation but we would get the third night free. We were told to come back in the morning and ask about the breakfast coupons.
When we returned we were told to come back again and speak to someone else. Finally they gave us the breakfast coupons. When we checked out they would not give us the 3rd night free as promised in their advertisement and when we checked in. They told us they were not going to give it to us because we chose the breakfast coupons instead. We can forward a copy of their advertisement as well as our reservation confirmation confirming the above offer. This is false advertising or a bait & switch scheme which is fraudulent.
