My wife and I met with representatives of TimeSharerescue.com and Resort Transfer Services. We paid them $3,500.00 in 2008 to buy our two timeshares. We should have video taped and fingerprinted the "nice people" selling their services. For the past 6 months and currently there is no answer at either place. After we contacted the Colorado Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, a nice woman called to state she was trying to rescue the company and then a strange man called to buy our property. Please beware of any company willing to buy any timeshare.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

This company scammed us. In September 2008, my husband and I attended a "Timeshare Rescue" seminar which offered us a way out of a timeshare that we own and unfortunately do not use. For the fee of $1295 which we paid then and there, they agreed to execute documents to transfer the title of the timeshare from us to them. The agreement stated that most transfers would be completed within 90 days. A paragraph from that same agreement states "Transferor acknowledges that TSR will pay any and all fees associated with the transfer of the timeshare interest as well as any future fees/expenses associated with the timeshare/membership. Transferor further acknowledges that they will be responsible for no further fees or costs of any kind with regard to the timeshare transferred in accordance with this execution and adherence to this agreement."
Needless to say, after executing two different Limited Power of Attorney documents, continuing to pay timeshare/membership fees and getting a runaround about the documents being in transit to the Orange County (Florida) Clerk of Courts where the property is located. 16 months later, Timeshare Rescue is unreachable. Their phone number is disconnected. We have paid and are still paying timeshare fees and there are Limited Power of Attorney documents still out there somewhere. Today, we sought counsel to execute documents to revoke two Limited Power of Attorney documents and we will have them recorded. If I am going to pay for the timeshare, I want to ensure that in the future it will be titled to myself and my husband.

Timeshare transfer in August 2008 has not completed and the transfer company (Resort Transfer Services) phone numbers no longer work. After numerous attempts to determine status of transfer, Sean ** told me that he's no longer associated with Resort Transfer Services/Timeshare Rescue. $1,100 paid in August 2008 without transfer ever completing and now the dispute time has passed with Visa.
