I booked vacations for four gentlemen asking for a special vacation package called "Tee Time". The package cost $269 per night per person for four nights. When we signed in for our vacation we received the package as promised. We were also told by the person who signed us into the hotel that we each would receive a benefit of $50.00 a day to spend at the resort as part of the package. This was indeed a nice surprise. It caused us all to make sure that we spent enough money at the resort to receive the benifit. In fact, we spent more than the daily benefit of $50.00 each.

However, upon check-out we were told that there was a mistake and that we would not receive the benefit -- that the desk clerk had misstated the benefits of the original package. After much discussion the "manager-in-charge" on November 23, 2003 stated that he would allow only $25.00 a day per person as a compromise.

This "allowance" was given only after 50 minutes of discussion. It did not end there. All members of the group closely scrutinized their bills and found numerous charges that were not incurred by the guests, such as, "greens fees", limousine service and parking charges. After objections, these charges were taken off the bills.

The consequences were the loss of more than $25.00 per day per person for four days. The result is that this group will never darken the halls of that resort again. We had been there on four prior vacations with eight or more golfers on the prior visits.
