Wizz Air refuses to refund ticket cost for flights cancelled due to last April's volcanic ash cloud debacle. Stranded in Bulgaria and after waiting for four days without any information from Wizz Air, I took a 36-hour bus ride back to Brussels. Wizz Air claimed I re-booked which is true, however, I sent email and tried phoning them to cancel. Apparently, once they have your money, there is no getting it back. 100 euro bus ticket, four days additional hotel and meal expense and 36 hours on a bus.

I traveled from London (UK) to Varna (Bulgaria) with Wizz Air on the17th of January 2010. My luggage stayed in London and took another flight to Sofia (Bulgaria). Today is the 21st and my luggage is still in Sofia. I bought new clothes and I don't know how many clothes I have to buy since I have no idea when my luggage will arrive.
