I called on Feb 18 4:39 pm, Feb.21 3:42 pm and Feb.26 9:53 am. Each time I was told I would be getting service within a day to a couple of days. Today, March 4th, I called again. Christina and Dawn told me he would be coming out today and when I expressed to know what time and said I was really unhappy with the fact she kept telling me one thing and not doing it, she became rude and not polite after I said this.
I told her it has been over 2 weeks from the first time I called. What's the hold up? They didn't have a routing at that time. Then they blamed a storm. We are not even in the heavy snow storm area (No snow). So they could easily make it to our home. They charge for delivery anyway. She hung up on me. However our tank was reading 20% the first time I called (2weeks ago).
By the second time it was reading 15% (right now, I don't know what it is) and Christina told me not to use the hot water. I told her I had laundry piling up because we weren't sure how fast the propane would go using our household washer/bathroom/shower. Water heater and gas keeps our home warm. We have a 3 year old and I did not want our house to get cold. We had to run it on 65 just in hopes it did not run out. Needless to say, I am sick and my daughter also has gotten sick with bronchitis.
When the owner showed up today, he was rude and very disrespectful. He was insisting that Christina did not hang up the phone on me from the office and that I had my dates wrong. He said it had only been 10 days. However, I have the exact dates and times of all my calls! Regardless, we needed service to take care of our home. He then basically called me a liar and I didn't know what I was talking about. I have proof of the times I called and asked for service. He said he would be out tomorrow to pick up his tank.
Before he left, he walked back out to the tank, I couldn't tell what he was doing but I hope he didn't let the rest of the gas out. We still need it for tonight. He might have emptied some out so he doesn't have to refund the balance left in the tank. I told this guy I was sick and he really couldn't have cared less. I didn't want to have to change propane companies but he has left us with no choice. We'll see if he actually shows up tomorrow to claim his tank.
This has been a horrible experience to have to go through. I felt as if I was begging for service. I just wanted to keep my home running, warm and safe. I was under the impression that when you called for services that were obligated to come and service your tank when it's owned by them. We pay a tank rental fee every year. I am hoping we get that back too.
It is resulting in us having to quickly regain new services with money we currently don't have! The aggravation of constantly asking for service! In fact, I gave them enough time in between calls to make it right. I was not harassing them, just asking for service. Pricing can vary so we're at a cross roads what to do. My husband said we can run a 10 gal tank for a night to keep us warm but that's very expensive. I am certain the All Service Propane truck will end up tearing huge holes in the back yard. My husband would understand more than I do of this replacement issue. I am just tired of being lied to by this service company.
