They have chosen to remain ignorant and that is the definition of stupidity. Perhaps there has been too much genetic redundancy in the management of PRECO. A realtor lost business. Another business lost a recruited professional. A homeowner lost a lucrative rental. At-risk members of this community can not maximize the benefits of a state safety program if they are forced to be customers of PRECO. Sad. Very, very sad.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I was billed a delinquent fee of $30 dollars. My bill date was 11/11/08 I paid the bill on 11/18/08. Less then 7 days after my bill date. I have issue with this as my date keep moving forward it has been around the 20th for years now and the last couple months it keeps moving up. This is a true hard ship on customers who live pay check to pay check.
The second issue I have is they send someone out to collect this and charge you this $30 fee. #1 Maybe try calling more then once. #2 Lets wait 15 days or 30 before strong arming your customers, especially good customers. #3 If you are trying to collect on a bill come by when someone might be home. #4 Stop moving the bar or pay date. #5 Think of the customer especially when they are all owners I should have more say in this and respect.
I find this entire issue an outrage to the respect and decency of shareholders and waste of time, money and resources of the company. I hate to think that if I was a week & half past my pay date if they would have just come turn the power off for my family and let my three small children freeze to death. Its a crime to think that they can just do what ever they want. I fear for others as I have paid my bills on time with Peace River my whole life with them and I get slapped around for a 7 day miss step. I hate to think what they do to families that are worse off or unable to meet there demands.
I hope that in the future the big powerful power companies will listen to the voice of the people & customers. I will hold out hope that this may happen.
