I opened an account in 2007 (propane). filled my tank. The rent of the tank was $75.75 a year. They raised the price of the tank to $164.63 a year. I called, asking why the price went up too much. They told me because I haven't filled my tank in 3 years. I told them because of my job, I don't spend to much time in my house, so I don't use too much propane. They want me to fill my tank at list 2 times a year. I can't do it. I have been trying to save every penny, because I lost my full time job. I don't have $400 or $500 to fill my tank every six months. They said we are in this business to sell gas, not to rent tanks, but if you don't fill your tank, we are going to raise the price of the rent of the tank, because we are going to make our money one way or another. Do they have the right to do it? I am having problems making ends meet, because I lost my full time job. I don't have extra money to spend. I have been trying to modify my home loan.
