Im trying to understand why SWEPCO can bill me an extra 50 dollars without any kind of notice that there was an issue with my meter. The only thing i got was an addtl 50 dollars added to my bill, when i inquired the only explanation they could give was that the seal needed to be replaced, they can not even give me a date of when this was done. I would have no problem paying this if they would have left a notice on the door along with the old seal so i had some warning and understanding.
but instead they just tried to add the addtl cost without explanation. Since we have no choice of service providers it is like slavery and we have to give in to their demands or live without electricity. when I call all they will say is i have to pay it, they have the right to change it at anytime they see fit. I ask for proof of thaat right and they can not provide that for me.
