On February 3, 2001, I went to their seminar. They said you can make a thousand dollars a week. I believed them so I signed a contract which I had 3 days to cancel. The contract was about $450, they wanted a deposit of $79.90. I gave a check which was my mother checking account and I'm the co-owner.

The representative told me that she's going to hold on to the check until I open my own checking account. She called me on Monday February 5, 2001 I told her to cancel everything because I wasn't going to have time to do it. A month later I received a credit card machine, I returned it with return receipt. I called their office and left several messages to find out the status; they never returned my calls.
I received a letter stating that they will damage my credit. Now I received a second letter to pay $1837.70. I do not have that much money to pay, besides I do not have any copy of any contract. Robin kept all the papers until she gets a copy of my check.

Leonaise made a couple of very serious mistakes. She failed to keep a copy of the contract and she failed to cancel the contract in writing within three days. She is probably stuck for the $1800 as a result.
